Sponsorship of May Day Domestic Employees Celebration
Nation is pleased to be one of the sponsors for the May Day 2019 Domestic Employees celebration organised by the Centre for Domestic Employers (CDE) and National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). Some 2,000 domestic employees were treated to water rides, stage performances and fringe activities at Wild Wild Wet, Downtown East on 16 June 2019.
Nation Cooking Competition 2019 Let’s Cook Together
This is one of Nation’s major outreach where employers and their Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs) pair up to create healthy dishes for the family in an hour-long cookout. The aim is to foster closer relationship and create trust in each other through interaction and effective communication. The top three winning teams were awarded with cash prizes and the Champion team was crowned ‘Nation Chef of the Year 2019’.
Pink Ribbon Walk 2018
Nation’s employees participated at the Pink Ribbon Walk 2018 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and to raise funds for Breast Cancer Foundation.
Banten Indonesia Charity Project 2017
What had begun as a global outreach programme to strengthen cultural understanding between Singapore and the source country that provided Singapore employers with domestic helpers, Nation embarked on its second Indonesian Charity Project in October 2017. This time, the visit was to Banten on the westernmost province on the island of Java, in Indonesia.
