Calling all ‘Home Chefs’!

Here’s the chance to share your culinary skills using healthier cooking methods and cook up a tasty and visually appealing meal.

Partner with your FDW, win attractive prizes and be crowned ‘Nation Chef of the Year’.

PRIZES

Champion: Cash prize of $500 and Blanc 28cm Saute Pan worth $248
1st Runner-up: Cash prize of $300 and Blanc 28cm Saute Pan worth $248
2nd Runner-up: Cash prize of $100 and Blanc 28cm Saute Pan worth $248
Consolation Prizes: Cash prize of $50
(Winning recipes will be featured on our website and Facebook)


REGISTRATION

  1. Submit your recipe and a photo of your dish using the online form.
  2. You may also visit any of our six branches across the island to register for the competition.
  3. Participants must provide proof of FDW employment under the same registered residential address by attaching a copy of the FDW work permit and employer’s NRIC (front and back).
  4. Competition is open to all employers and their FDWs whether they are hired through Nation Employment or other maid agencies.
  5. Last day of online submission: 6 March 2019
  6. Those who are selected will be contacted via email or telephone.


FINAL COOK-OFF

Five teams will be selected for the cook-off competition.

Teams will be given time to prepare and cook a healthy dish.

Date: 31 March 2019
Time: 12.00pm-12.45pm – For teams to set up and prepare
1.00pm-2.00pm – Nation Cooking Competition*
Venue: SPH Auditorium (1000 Toa Payoh North News Centre Singapore 318994)

*All teams must bring their own ingredients (prepared and ready to cook), cooking appliances, utensils and display plates. Organisers will only provide an induction cooker. Teams may bring their own induction cooker if preferred.
