Nation is pleased to be one of the sponsors for the May Day 2019 Domestic Employees celebration organised by the Centre for Domestic Employers (CDE) and National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). Some 2,000 domestic employees were treated to water rides, stage performances and fringe activities at Wild Wild Wet, Downtown East on 16 June 2019.

This is one of Nation’s major outreach where employers and their Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs) pair up to create healthy dishes for the family in an hour-long cookout. The aim is to foster closer relationship and create trust in each other through interaction and effective communication. The top three winning teams were awarded with cash prizes and the Champion team was crowned ‘Nation Chef of the Year 2019’.

Nation’s employees participated at the Pink Ribbon Walk 2018 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and to raise funds for Breast Cancer Foundation.

In early February 2017, Nation organised a visit to Peacehaven Nursing Home during the Lunar New Year, bringing festive cheers to the elderly there. Our staff volunteers talked and danced with the residents while the less inhibited clapped and sang along.
